JOB DESCRIPTION:
We’re looking for highly-motivated and organized people to join our growing team in the Los Angeles and NYC areas. We provide comprehensive solutions for our client’s organizational challenges through smart, functional design and personalized systems and solutions. We provide on-the-job training so our team members learn the firm’s approach and methodologies. This role requires candidates to participate in organizational and move management work.
Job Responsibilities:
Professional Organizing
Provide hands-on client interaction and support throughout the organizing process
Implement organizing processes and systems tailored to meet each client’s needs in all areas of the client’s home
Compile list of recommended organizing products and storage solutions for client projects
Provide shopping services for organizing products on behalf of clients
Move Management
Coordinate all vendors, contractors and service professionals involved in the moving process: movers, building management, utilities and decorators, etc.
Sort, edit, organize, photograph and inventory belongings
Manage donations, storage, sales and disposal of items as appropriate
Supervise the packing and move
Supervise the unpacking, furniture placement and assembly
Set-up and organize new home or office
Provide finishing touches: shopping for household items, cataloging DVDs, CDs, trash removal, oversee handyman services, hanging art and window treatments, etc.
Qualifications
Acute attention to detail and highly-organized with strong ability for problem solving.
Strong interpersonal and conversational skills including effective listening
Knowledge of organizational systems, processes, tools, resources and products
Open-minded and non-judgmental attitude toward clients with organization challenges: Able to work with a wide variety of different people and personalities
Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with clients, coworkers, contractors, vendors, and the general public
Maintain a calm, patient, professional presence in chaotic or stressful situations
Visualize and transform a space
Inspire confidence by taking charge of a situation, focusing on solutions, being proactive and willing to roll-up sleeves and get the job done
Manage time and complete tasks efficiently
Work independently and effectively prioritizes projects and tasks
Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, integrity, honesty and a strong work-ethic

Candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule with varying work hours
Project locations and work hours will vary depending on the projects
Compensation
Salary ranges are commensurate with experience
